Texas Life Science Forum Adds New Educational Sessions To Annual Conference

The collection of top level practitioners we've gathered will provide invaluable insight and strategic advice that life science entrepreneurs need to stand out in a competitive business environment.

HOUSTON, TX -- In a move to further support innovation and build stronger bridges for opportunities to life science entrepreneurs, the 2014 Texas Life Science Forum has introduced separate concurrent educational sessions to its annual conference, a comprehensive showcase of cutting edge research and innovative life science technology entrepreneurs in the region. 

Led by industry leaders, the new educational sessions will focus on scientific, technical, business and regulatory issues such as proof of concept and conducting clinical trials to capital requirements and alternative financing.  A sampling of the concurrent educational sessions scheduled include:

The addition of these high caliber sessions will enhance the already robust agenda of new life science technology presentations, panel discussions by active early-stage life science venture capitalists, interactive sessions with researchers and one-on-one meetings between life science companies and investors.

The 2014 Texas Life Science Forum, a joint effort between the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, BioHouston, Texas Healthcare and BioScience Institute (THBI) and the Houston Area Translational Research Consortium (HATRC), will be held Thursday, February 20 from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the BioScience Research Collaborative located at 6500 Main Street.
