Suspended Warehouse - A Documentary Crowdfunding Campaign
Suspended Warehouse is a feature-length documentary. We have the Director's Cut version ready and the next step is to finish the post-production process, send it to film festivals worldwide and obtain distribution.
This documentary is shot entirely in a warehouse called "Armazém 13", a cultural project that aims at the development of Circus Performing Arts. A place created by artists for artist to create.
I started doing this project in 2011 as a change from the commercial work I was doing. At the warehouse I found individual artists who got together to create a space that allowed them to develop their most personal creative work without external influence. I was embraced into this idea and was able to develop my own work with talented artists in this place that really is a dream come true.
This project is only possible thanks to all the artists and crew who accepted working with no financial return.
The main objective is to spread the work of all the artists involved, from the performers to the movie production team. Therefore one of the goals is to have the documentary online for free.
So far I have done this documentary with my own funds. At this stage I need to be able to work round-the-clock on this project.
