Ryan W. Keyser’s Second Novel Gets Rave Reviews From Top American Book Stores

Ryan W. Keyser
Texas-based novelist launches second novel after a successful debut with a real-life experience book.

New American novelist Ryan W. Keyser has released his second book, Lanessa. The book traces the story of Lanessa Whitman, a successful and well-organized realtor and the cofounder of a wealthy gated community in Cardero County Texas.

The book has received rave reviews from top book stores and critics in the United States.

The New York Bookstore Review says, “This book is perfect for anyone who enjoys reading a suspenseful and action-packed story with a thrill on every page.”

“All of the characters come together throughout the novel in an intricate web of cross plots,” says the review by Publish America. “Between the dealings of law enforcement and the gangs who threaten the peace, there is no room for boredom in Lanessa. From Texas to Rhode Island, the characters that Ryan W. Keyser has created provide something for every reader. This novel is rife with scandal, murder, and greed, all elements for a thrilling read.”

Ryan W. Keyser finds inspiration from many aspects of his life. According to the author, his training in mixed martial arts at the Black Dragon is one of his biggest sources. Much of what he learned and experienced has found its way into both his novels. Authors like S. E. Hinton, Irwin Shaw, and Louis L’Amour influenced Keyser’s ideas on how to create and develop stories.

Ryan W. Keyser’s novels are “unputdownable” according to his readers and fans because he mixes his creative imagination with real-life events to create a compelling and unforgettable plot. The novelist attributes his ability to write successful books entirely to his English classes in school.

In his debut novel, Surfwater, Ryan W. Keyser uses real-life experiences, too, combining music and actual events with the deftness of an expert writer. The novel follows the life and times of a female band through the aggressive rock decades of the 1970s and 1980s.

The women who make up the band Surfwater make music that is suggestive of The Bangles and the legendary Elvis Presley. Their passion sends them on a whirlwind journey through the music scene and into stardom. Keyser has dedicated Surfwater to the memory of his mother and the South Park Greenies.

Ryan W. Keyser’s books are identifiable by their strong, willful female characters with which most American women can relate with today. Music and mystery are his trademark representations, which he expertly weaves into his novels. Significantly, his heroines stand out as path-breaking characters who open the door for future generations of young girls looking for success, passion, and fame.

The novelist and author does not believe in sequels but is a fan of spin-offs. This trait is evident in the plots of both his novels.
