Laurel, Maryland – Village Connector Media, an organization that operates an Internet TV channel, and Internet radio channel and an online newspaper, has launched a new mobile marketing system called “The Consumers Win! Savings Club. The system brings consumers together with local merchants saving money for both the merchants and the consumers.
Consumers reach merchants from a mobile directory that has a geo-locator system that displays deals closest to the consumer. The directory is accessible from a smart phone browser without downloading apps. The program is free for consumers and participating merchants pay a small annual fee for unlimited use of the system. For that fee, merchants can post deals anytime, as frequently as they like, without sharing their revenue. Merchants are assigned a user name and password from which to log into an online store provided with their membership, where they create their coupons and have them automatically display on the Consumers Win! Savings Club site, and on their mobile coupon.
“We created the Consumers Win! Savings Club to put small locally owned businesses on equal footing with bigger stores that have larger advertising budgets”, said Glenn Garnes, the brainchild for both Village Connector Media and the Consumers Win! Savings Club. “Our system allows merchants to run better and more frequent deals without worrying about the cost of their ads”, Garnes explained.
For a limited time, Village Connector Media is making the program available to merchants on a trial basis in select cities. The trial allows for complete and unlimited use of the system for an entire year without obligation. Merchants participating in the trial get the same access as paid advertisers but without the fee.
