Hank’s Oyster Bar hired Pat McMahon photography to create a gallery style art installation for their newly renovated restaurant in Old Town Alexandria, VA.
McMahon used his unique and stylized photography to create stunning artwork for Hank’s new, larger dining space. McMahon partnered with Old Town Editions and Carriage House Framing to print and frame the artwork.
"The artwork helps create fun, sophisticated and yet intimate dining experience," McMahon said. “The challenge was to create focal points and a sort of visual appeal throughout Hank’s new, larger space.”
McMahon worked with two small businesses in Alexandria, VA to make his vision come to life. McMahon says, “Old Town Editions helped provide expertise printing and also gave me suggestions for size, color contrast and they helped me view my work in a larger format.” Old Town Editions is a digital printmaking studio dedicated to creating the highest quality fine art prints for artists, photographers, galleries, and museums. He also worked with Carriage House Framing to frame the artwork and create an atheistic that enhances the relaxed and casual atmosphere at Hank’s Oyster Bar.
With Hank’s doubling the size of their space and enlarging their bar and dining area, McMahon had no easy task. McMahon embraced the challenge and worked with Hank’s to photograph and create a stunning food experience.
