Los Angeles (June 18, 2013) -- Girl Radical was born of the radical idea to introduce the first Supermassive American Girl Group! Overflowing with talent, the only thing greater than these girls' talent is the charm of their personalities and their love for each other, because Girl Radical isn't just an act, it's a family. Inspired by the trend of giant girl groups in Japan, JC Chasez (NSYNC, America's Best Dance Crew) and Golden Globe-winning, Grammy-nominated songwriter Jimmy Harry (Madonna, P!nk, Britney Spears) searched for talent from all walks of life to assemble a phenomenal ensemble of singers, dancers, and personalities.
From a recent interview at the 5th annual Teen Party Expo, the youngest radical, Meeghan Henry, 18, said she believes this group has everything necessary to make it to the top.
"We've got diversity in the group, as well as people like JC and Jimmy who have been in the industry for a long time and know what they're doing," Henry said. "It's really exciting to be part of this project, and I'm glad I joined."
Henry said the first Girl Radical single should be out around the end of summer. In the meantime, the supergroup has been lining up interviews with Datzhott, pyncelebrity, and ShockboxTV, to name a few.
The all-girl pop supergroup consists of 12 "Radicals": Jessica Radical, Meeghan Radical, Kota Radical, Julie Radical, Chase Radical, Rosie Radical, Betty Jo Radical, Darina Radical, Sydney Radical, Nyla Radical, Aniyah Radical, and Alex Radical.
