"Serge Dulacs/Unity Production's brand of slapstick and ludicrous antics are timeless, with laughter crossing all generations," remarks Cristiane Roget, California/Florida Correspondent for ABNewswire.com (abnewswire.com) -formally of The Hollywood Reporter & Below The Line News (www.btlnews.com).
San Diego/California Unity Productions, Inc.(www.UnityProductions.com) takes pleasure in presenting their inaugural United States Premiere in sunny San Diego, California - Saturday, June 7 through Sunday, July 6. The globally renowned performance artists are set to pop-up at the 2014 San Diego County Fair with the 'ex-Changing of the Guards' (www.sdfair.com) " parading their antics four time

Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of The Beatles ‘British Invasion’, the official title of this year’s San Diego County Fair is THE FAB FAIR 2014.  The ex-Changing of the Guards will bring their irreverent Monty Python inspired hilarity to unsuspecting audiences at the Fab Fair. The troupe has performed from Tokyo to Timbuktu, and points in between.  “So yank out those vintage threads and get your moves on with Unity Production’s original take on twist and shout,” says Royal Riedinger, Business Manager and Producer.

Under the direction of creator Serge Dulac, The ex-Changing of the Guards is an enduring and engaging interactive outdoor show.  It features two charming English Palace Guards and their neurotically, addled chief in an epicurean display of British-style physical humor.  Precision marches are peppered with surprises while the audience is caught unawares.   All of the activity unfolds from inside and outside a sentry box situated on the sidewalk.

Two original songs by French composer Lucas Dulac (www.LucasDulac.com) are stand alone crowd pleasers. Brilliantly interactive;  an unsuspecting  member of the audience is recruited into the action and rises to become the star of the show. The 30 minute act, including memorable photo opportunities is to be performed four times daily.

Unity Productions, is headquartered in Kissimmee, Florida with satellite offices in the E.U. (Lyon, France) and Osaka, Japan.  The company has been the standard bearer of interactive, pop-up street entertainment since 1994.  They are in demand by clients that range from Walt Disney, Universal Studios Japan, SeaWorld and Dollywood theme parks to international corporations with Mercedes Benz, Coca-Cola, Cirque du Soleil among them.  Unity Productions has performed at the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup and the Ryder Cup.

Always an innovator, Serge Dulac pioneered the art form in which four unique art genres - Sculpture, Acting, Commedia Dell’ Arte & Street Theater - combine to craft a singular magical experience.  These dynamic and copyright-protected shows have entertained countless audiences from international diplomats to Hollywood divas, from corporate icons to giggling kids, from radiant brides to theme park veterans.  One thing the audience has in common is they go away either  thrilled, amazed or in the sage words of Billy Holiday “Life is worth Living, just smile”.
